- Analyzes samples of blood, tissue and body fluids to determine chemical content, cell count, drug levels or blood type; may also search for specific microorganisms like bacteria or parasites.
- Provides information for patient diagnosis and treatment by performing laboratory tests.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed.
- May require walking primarily on a level surface for periods of time throughout the day.
- Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or Lifting as required.
Requirement description :
- 2 years of current experience - Required
- ASCP Certification (Verification MUST be included with submission) - Required
- Rural experience - Preferred
- Phlebotomy experience - Highly preferred
- Prior travel experience - Preferred
- Covid Vaccine - Required
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :
- ASCP
- BLS (AHA)
Weekend Requirements : Every 3rd / 5:30pm Friday to 6:30am Monday
On Call Requirements : As needed, 5:00pm to 6:30am
