Demonstrates clinical competence by utilizing the nursing process. The RN must assess and identify patient problems/needs, establish a plan of care, implement interventions, and evaluate and revise the patient plan of care based on patient progress.

Speare OB Unit can manage High-Risk pregnancy management, including (but not limited to):

  • Preterm Labor
  • High blood pressure
  • Diabetes
  • VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean Section)
  • Prenatal testing
  • Amniocentesis
  • Childbirth education classes

    Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload.
    NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better). MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR BOTH THANKSGIVING AND CxxISTMAS HOLIDAYS SO THEY CAN SCHEDULE WHERE/IF NEEDED. THANK YOU!

    • 2 years Current OB/L&D experience - Required
    • Post-Partum AND Mother/Baby experience - Required
    • NURSERY Experience - Required
    • Apgar/Routine testing experience - Required
    • AWHONN and STABLE - Strongly preferred - Travelers with one or both of these certifications will receive first consideration
    • Lactation experience - Preferred
    • BSN - Highly preferred
    • Previous travel - Preferred
    Profile Requirements:
    • Work History
    • Skills Checklist (pertinent to position), current to 1 year
    • 1 Supervisory Signed Reference (from within the past two years of employment)
    • License/Certifications - Must be uploaded with profile (Current Nursys, BLS, NRP and MARCH 18 START DATE - Facility will not pend License/Certs)


    CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :
    • NRP
    • BLS (AHA)

    STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :
    • New Hampshire

    ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS : NH or Compact MUST be in-hand at upload
