Job Title: Information Technology Temporary Professional
Job Summary:
This position will be a 9-month, temporary member of a team that is responsible for providing web content management services for departments within the School of Medicine with Sitefinity and SharePoint Intranet websites.

Key Responsibilities:
- The IT Intern will be responsible for:
- Prioritizing and managing ticket requests from departments.
- Communicating workload and timelines with clients and team members.
- Performing basic photo editing such as cropping and compressing images for website performance.
- Creating google analytics dashboards for clients to monitor website performance.
- Monitoring reports for broken links, accessibility issues, redirects, etc.
- Ensuring websites are up to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
- Ensuring a consistent look and feel is maintained for websites.
- Editing and proofreading Web Content for grammar and consistent writing style/conventions.
- Publishing a large volume of information in an accurate, well-organized, and timely manner
- Building pages in Sitefinity CMS determines page layouts, arrangements of content, coding, etc.
- Creating and updating content on department Intranet/SharePoint sites.
- Assisting other ITSS units (ex. Desktop support, System Administration, Development, Data Services) with work as needed.
- Creating, editing, and maintaining scripts for various ITSS systems such as Jamf, Absolute, and Lansweeper.
Work Location:
Remote this role is eligible to work remotely, but the employee must be in the United States.

Anticipated Pay Rate:
The starting salary rate for this position has been established as $20.00 per hour
The above salary range represents the Universitys good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level.

Minimum Qualifications:
- A bachelors degree in computer science, management/computer information systems, computer engineering, information technology, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelors degree on a year for year basis.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using a Web Content Management System (CMS) such as Sitefinity.
- Experience with web graphic design or simple photos (i.e., resizing, color touch-ups, etc.)
- Experience with Google Analytics platform.
- Experience working in a higher education environment.
- 1-2 years of web content management experience

- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
