Job Description
The Town of Ocean City Recreation and Parks Department is looking for friendly, enthusiastic people to work at the Ocean City Tennis Center located at 61st Street and The Bay. The Town of Ocean City is hiring Tennis Attendants. These positions assist with the tennis instruction in youth and pee-wee camps as well as youth /adult tennis programs and may act as hitting partners for customers to the facility. Assists in front desk operations including waiting on customers, answering phones, taking registration, and point of sale in the tennis shop. Candidates must have excellent customer service skills and be able to play tennis.
Position Details
- Must be at least 16 years of age or older.
- Assists in daily court and facility maintenance.
- Assists with tournament execution, including court monitoring, set up and clean up.
- Enforces facility rules and regulations.
- Experience playing tennis preferred.
- Hourly Rate: $15.45 for new employees and $15.75 for returning employees (who meet specified requirements) with 5-40 hours per week.
- Must be able to work a varied schedule, including weekends.
- Must be available to work from mid-May through early October.
- Pass a post offer drug test and background check.
