We are seeking an experienced operations professional to manage a territory in the home improvement industry. This role requires overseeing daily operations, supporting retail partners, and ensuring efficient delivery of backyard products. Candidates should be independent, decisive, and committed to operational excellence for long-term career growth

  • Anticipate $60K-$70K+, based on experience
  • Full suite of benefits; health/dental/vision, 401K, PTO, etc.
  • Role includes company vehicle + gas card
  • Territory: Greater Indianapolis

Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory, product handling, and physical facility assets to support operations.
  • Lead and maintain a core team of sub-contractors for timely, high-quality installations.
  • Provide feedback on team performance and handle auditing/inventory schedules.
  • Oversee ordering, receiving, storing, shipping, repairing, and related inventory activities.
  • Execute promotional merchandising plans and maintain presentation standards in retail territories.
  • Ensure safety compliance and promote a secure work environment per state/federal guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively (verbal/written) and partner with HR on compliance matters.
  • Interface with retail partners (big-box stores) to enhance product knowledge and sales support.
  • Operate in a professional office/manufacturing setting with physical demands (sit/stand/walk/climb/lift up to 50 lbs).

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED with 2-4 years relevant experience in supervision, construction/building materials, or proficient wood working/building products.
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Understanding of accounts payable/receivable, inventory control, and profit & loss.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ops-driven, personable, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license (MVR check required post-offer).
