Edge, part of UFP Industries, is seeking a Territory Manager to support distributor partners and drive pull-through sales across the dealer, builder, and specifier network. The Territory Manager will work closely with distributor sales teams, lumberyards, dealers, builders, and key market influencers to increase brand awareness, provide product education, and grow demand for Edge trim, siding, pattern, and prefinished building products. This role is responsible for identifying opportunities in the market, supporting product specifications, and helping customers understand the performance, application, and value of the Edge product line. This position reports to the Regional Sales Manager - East and requires regular travel within the assigned territory. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Increase sales volume, market share, and profitability within the assigned territory. Partner with current and prospective distributors to grow Edge product sales and strengthen market presence. Work alongside distributor Account Managers to identify dealer, builder, and specifier opportunities. Drive pull-through sales by building relationships with lumberyards, dealers, builders, contractors, and design/specification influencers. Provide product education and technical support for Edge trim, siding, pattern, and prefinished product lines. Serve as a product expert on Edge materials, applications, installation considerations, finishes, and market positioning. Support planned sales and marketing strategies, promotions, product launches, and lead-generation efforts. Ensure distributors and retailers understand available promotions, selling tools, samples, and leads generated by the Edge team. Identify new customer opportunities and expand Edge brand awareness across the marketplace. Maintain strong customer relationships and provide timely follow-up to support sales growth. Track market activity, customer needs, competitive information, and sales opportunities. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience in a related field. Minimum of 5 years of building materials sales experience preferred. Strong dealer and lumberyard relationships required. Experience selling through distribution strongly preferred. Knowledge of wood products, trim, siding, prefinished materials, primer, paint, stain, and exterior building applications preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and other business software. Ability to apply business math and lumber math. Skills and Abilities Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to build credibility with distributors, dealers, builders, contractors, and internal teams. Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization and with external customers. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Ability to understand and communicate product features, technical details, and application guidance. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to travel regularly and remain mobile in the work environment. Professional phone, email, and business communication skills. Compensation & Benefit Information Salary Pay Range: $75,000 - $100,000 annually, dependent on experience, geographical location, commission structure, and additional benefits.
