Get To Know The Role: The Outside Sales Specialist is responsible for driving sales growth by identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and promoting a range of material handling solutions. This role demands a results-driven individual who excels at building customer relationships, assessing client needs, and offering tailored solutions to maximize operational efficiency and productivity. What You’ll Do: Identify, prospect, and generate new leads within assigned territories. Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets. Promote and sell material handling products and solutions, including forklifts, aerial lifts and more. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. Conduct regular follow-ups and visits to assess evolving customer needs. Provide technical and consultative support to customers, ensuring the proposed solutions meet their operational needs. Prepare detailed and accurate proposals, quotes, and contracts for clients. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and forecasts in CRM software. What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in business, or a related field (preferred but not required). Proven track record of success in outside sales, preferably in material handling, industrial equipment, or related industries. Experience with solution-based selling and complex sales cycles. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Technical aptitude and the ability to learn complex product details. Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Must Haves: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel within the sales territory. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
