We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Territory Sales Manager to drive sales and expand our market presence within a designated territory. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing client relationships, and leading a team of sales representatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Territory Management: Develop and implement a territory sales plan that aligns with company objectives, focusing on customer acquisition and revenue growth.

  • Sales Strategy Development: Identify key market opportunities and create strategies to penetrate and expand within the territory.

  • Client Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.

  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives, providing guidance and support to achieve individual and team sales targets.

  • Performance Monitoring: Set clear sales targets and KPIs for the team, track performance, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.

  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs, identifying opportunities for growth.

  • Sales Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management, highlighting performance, challenges, and opportunities.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.

  • Experience: 5+ years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in a territory management or managerial role.

  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and effectively managing a territory.

  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire and develop a sales team.

  • Excellent Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence clients and team members.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends to drive decision-making.

  • CRM Proficiency: Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales tools.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of sales methodologies and best practices.
  • Familiarity with regional market dynamics and customer preferences.
