TEST ENGINEER - ANTWERP (BELGIUM) - PERMANENT POSITIONThe Test Engineer will join an engineering organisation focused on the development and validation of advanced electronic and communication systems. The team works on complex, high-performance products that support reliable data transmission, processing, and control functions within larger technical infrastructures.The role is centred around ensuring system quality through structured verification activities, combining hands-on testing with automated approaches. It requires close collaboration with design, development, and integration teams to support the full lifecycle of product validation, from early prototypes through to final system release.Key ResponsibilitiesContribute to the design, development, and maintenance of test and validation environments used for system verification.Define and execute structured test cases covering functional behaviour, performance characteristics, and system robustness.Support the preparation and upkeep of test documentation, including plans, procedures, and specifications.Analyse test outputs and compile clear, well-structured reports highlighting results, anomalies, and overall test coverage.Record and track issues identified during testing, providing detailed descriptions and supporting early-stage troubleshooting efforts.Work collaboratively with engineering teams to support integration activities and assist in resolving technical issues throughout development cycles.Help improve testing efficiency and coverage through the introduction of automation and refined testing practices.Profile & RequirementsDegree in Engineering (Electronics, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or similar), or equivalent professional experience.Interest in validation, testing methodologies, and complex engineering systems.Strong analytical skills with a structured and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.Experience with programming for test automation, ideally using Python (additional languages such as C# are an advantage).Ability to produce clear and concise technical documentation in English.Comfortable working in a technical environment involving both hardware and software systems.Proactive and collaborative mindset with a strong focus on quality and reliability.Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.Fluent in English, both written and spoken.The Offer:A permanent, full-time employment contractA salary & benefits package commensurate with experiencePlease send over your CV to or call me on +32 (0) 3 318 00 74.
