Mechanical Test Engineer- ManufacturingWest of Atlantic City, NJSalary: $90-105 K + bonusOur client is an industry leading manufacturer. They are currently seeking a test engineer to lead their product testing at their plant near Atlantic City. This is a great opportunity with stability and potential for growth. Come be a part of an incredible team!Looking for an engineer with experience testing products, mechanical properties, tensile strength, impact, usage tests, product evaluation, etc. The engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing procedures to ensure quality, reliability, and performance of products.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute test plans, protocols, and procedures for product validation and verification.Design and set up test fixtures, equipment, and automated systems to evaluate product performance.Manage engineering laboratory.Analyze test data, identify defects or non-conformances, and recommend corrective actions.Collaborate with design and production teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize manufacturing processes.Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control requirements.Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.Document test results, prepare reports, and present findings to stakeholders.Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering5+ years of experience in test engineering in a manufacturing environment (plastics preferred).Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, statistical analysis, and quality control principles.Proficiency with software such as Minitab or JMPExperienced with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or DELMIA Works.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Strong communication skills.
