The main responsibilities of the Test Engineer are to deliver fully functional tested products, strictly follow the test procedures and accurately report all faults.The ideal candidate for this role will be individuals that have experience testing and commissioning special purpose machinery with a strong electrical background and a high level of technical skills.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver fully functional tested productsFollow test procedures and ensure all documentation is accurately completed and signed offEnsure faults are accurately reportedCarry out fault diagnosis to component levelActively support test time reduction through continuous improvement.Investigate and analyse problems and provide solutionsThe Person:Time served Electrical apprenticeship, City and Guilds part 3 or qualified to HND, HNC or BTech level 3Experience following test procedures and accurately reporting test resultsExperience in fault diagnosis to component levelExperience carrying out electrical test on special purpose machineryUnderstanding of quality and health and safety implications of test proceduresAbility to carry out tasks with minimum supervisionStrong communication skills
