We are looking for a Hardware Test Engineer to support the development, validation, and qualification of complex hardware systems within the semiconductor industry. You will play a key role in ensuring the performance, reliability, and quality of high-tech equipment by designing and executing thorough test strategies across the product lifecycle.Key Responsibilities :Develop and execute hardware test plans, procedures, and protocols.Perform functional, performance, stress, and reliability testing on hardware systems and subsystems.Design and set up test environments, fixtures, and measurement equipment.Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and support corrective actions.Work closely with hardware, system, and manufacturing engineers to improve product quality.Support verification and validation activities according to V-model principles.Document test results, reports, and deviations clearly and accurately.Contribute to continuous improvement of test methods and test coverage.Your profile :Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Hardware Test Engineer.Strong understanding of electronic circuits, hardware systems, and measurement techniques.Hands-on experience with test and measurement equipment (e.g. oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers).Experience with test automation and scripting (e.g. Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB).Familiarity with verification & validation processes and structured testing methodologies.Good communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus).Working ConditionsYou get a permanent contract.You get a lease car with a fuel card.Possibility of hybrid working.Monthly net expense allowance.27 vacation days with the possibility to purchase 10 extra vacation days.Pension scheme without personal contribution.About ALTENALTEN is a global leader in engineering and technology consulting, supporting top-tier clients in their innovation and R&D strategies.
