Position Name Test Engineer for Vehicle Manufacturing Plant Support

W2 or C2C

Location Spartanburg, SC onsite from day 1

Job Description:

1. Internal Combustion Engine Vehicle Validation and Commissioning

2. On-board diagnostics of vehicles, read/analyze/document Debug Trouble Codes (DTC) and perform necessary troubleshooting, clearing DTCs and whitelisting as per the necessity.

3. Overseeing and tracking of internal tools of OEM (SAP, MES) and also JIRA / EPIC.

4. Tracking of defects including Time to Resolve, affected module, number of occurrences etc.

5. Analyze CAN, LIN, Flexray based communication between various vehicle modules as necessary as part of the debug.

6. Initiate follow up with suppliers' technical engineers in the event of any issue/defects found with their modules.

7. May need to perform lead or managerial roles of assigning tasks and tracking them until their completion.
