Our client is an automotive company specializing in the production of hybrid transmissions. They have a robust R&D team with state-of-the-art test facilities, and comprehensive operational capabilities. To expand their R&D team, we are looking for a Test Engineer to join the Validation team. In this role, you will be responsible for the test management of a specific part or module one of their products.ResponsibilitiesTranslate specific test requests into clear test procedures and determine which test equipment is required.Convert test requirements into practical and feasible test plans.Responsible for implementing a part of the extensive product design validation program and monitor the planned milestones.Translate medium-term planning into efficient weekly planning and proactively address obstacles to ensure progress.Prepare, coordinate, and execute development tests, including (data) analysis and clear reporting of the results.Work closely with colleagues (e.g. Validation Engineer, Technicians, Planner, ..) to quickly resolve any bottlenecks.Guide efforts in accordance with ISO 17025 quality standards. QualificationsMaster in Automotive, Electro-Mechanical with a strong interest for automotive or equivalent by experienceExperience in the field of automotive testing and testing facilities.Experience with Hybrid Powertrains and Automatic Transmission is an advantage.Experience in technically leading a teamPersistence and goal-orientedPlanning and structured approachStrong problem solving skills and are familiar with related methods like 8D.
