MOCAP is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations at our Park Hills facility. This role is responsible for overseeing a two-shift operation and approximately 130 production employees through a team of supervisors. The Production Manager owns production planning, safety, quality, labor efficiency, and performance metrics while working cross‑functionally to support customer commitments and operational goals. This is a hands‑on leadership role that balances visible presence on the production floor with strong systems, accountability, and data‑driven decision‑making. The successful candidate is decisive, fair, and an excellent communicator who is comfortable engaging directly with supervisors and hourly employees as needed. Responsibilities Lead daily production execution to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency goals. Manage and develop production supervisors and provide direct oversight of hourly employees as needed. Own production planning, scheduling, and labor utilization to support operational targets. Ensure safety compliance and consistent quality performance across all processes. Monitor and improve key performance indicators, including on‑time delivery, labor efficiency, and downtime. Drive practical, hands‑on continuous improvement initiatives. Partner cross‑functionally while maintaining clear accountability for overall production results. Position Qualifications 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience required. Plastics manufacturing experience preferred. Experience with molding, extrusion, or secondary operations a plus. Proven experience leading supervisors and large hourly teams. Physical Demands & Environmental Conditions This position is in both office and manufacturing environments. Requires regular standing and walking on the production floor, use of standard office equipment, and occasional lifting to twenty‑five pounds. Exposure to noise, moving equipment, and varying temperatures is expected. Appropriate PPE is required. Schedule flexibility may be needed to support production operations.
