Title: NCSC: ISG Test Technician/Test Support
Location: 6550 Judge Adams Rd, Whitsett, NC 27377, United State
Schedule: 1st shift M-F 6am to 4pm
Pay Rate: $21.00/hr. on W2
The openings are for 1st shift, but please check flexibility for 2nd shift.
Position Objective
- The Test Engineer Support / Test Technician is responsible for supporting the manufacturing test process and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify root causes of failures. This role assists manufacturing and engineering teams in understanding test designs and supports hardware and software analysis.
- The position also implements and maintains test code and processes to ensure manufactured products meet quality, safety, and performance standards. The technician works closely with local and global engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues before products reach customers.
Main Responsibilities
- Support test infrastructure and partner with production teams to improve quality and efficiency
- Provide feedback to design teams for Design-for-Test (DFT) improvements
- Monitor product quality standards and technical performance metrics
- Analyze test and quality indicators and drive corrective actions
- Support Quality teams with analysis and customer test processes (Out-of-Box and XCSA tests) to ensure customer requirements are met
- Maintain and ensure proper care of all test equipment and tools
- Maintain Test Information Management Systems (TT Support, Code Management, Code Distribution, Server Maintenance)
- Configure and support test architecture and infrastructure to ensure 24/7 operation
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) test plans throughout the product lifecycle
- Execute NPI test phases and ensure full compliance and approval according to plan
- Implement strategies defined by local leadership or test engineering teams
- Implement new projects, tools, improvements, and test code updates
- Develop and document tools that support production processes
- Maintain company equipment including laptops, mobile devices, tools, and instruments
- Follow Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health standards and procedures
