WHO?
-355Code's mission is teach Javascript and Project Management to all students from all backgrounds. Our goal is to prepare every student to be able to build a web application by adulthood.
- We are looking for a dynamic and determined Software Engineering Intern to build our capabilities in Javascript. Our team has a innovative, entrepreneurial spirit and offers room to grow and learn about education, entrepreneurship, and computer science.
WHAT?
- You will be responsible for learning JavaScript and building web applications!
- You will learn Javascript from resources including Codecademy, Udemy, Udacity, and other web MOOCS paid for by our firm.
- You will build engaging web content and drive traffic to our pages.
- You will also do in-person marketing to help acquire customers.
Example Projects Include:
- Calculator to visualize how much insurance a customer should buy
- Forecasting income, expenses, household budget
- Tennis robot, automated vehicles
- Customized user landing pages for giving price quotes
You will build helpful Javascript tools to build brand credibility. The website will be hosted in Wix and code will be embedded directly to our website.

- 3-10 Hours/Week
- Monday - Friday Business Hours
- $10.00/Hour Zoom
WHERE?
- Washington, DC Metro + Remote via Slack, Zoom
WHY?
YOU WILL
Develop digital marketing visualizations
Publish how-tos and engineering tips to our blog
Establish relationships with a variety of stakeholders
Deploy project management software, including Zoom, Slack, Salesforce, and Hubspot
WHAT YOU NEED
Communication skills and passion for serving people and families
Pursuing Bachelors Degree in CS, Engineering, Math, Business, Sciences (Preferred)
3.0/4.0 GPA Minimum
Past internship or professional experience in software engineering, analytics, data visualization, data science helpful
Technically adept; experienced with web technologies and willing to learn quickly
