Sr Staff Accountant Apply
Laxxon Medical, a leading biotechnology company, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team. As a Staff Accountant, you will provide support in carrying out daily accounting tasks and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the full cycle of accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, forecasts, and budgets
- Assist in month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Collaborate with department heads to optimize financial processes and procedures
- Prepare and submit accurate tax filings and other statutory reports
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external auditors and tax advisors
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA required
- 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in the biotechnology industry
- Proficient in financial software and ERP systems - QBO, Netsuite, Sage, SAP, Xero etc
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders
