Our client, a leading global financial services company, is seeking an experienced professional to serve as the Head of US Tax & Partners Affairs.

The Head of US Tax & Partners Affairs will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of US tax matters and partner-related affairs for the company. This senior leadership role requires a deep understanding of US tax laws, particularly as they relate to financial services and partnerships, as well as strong management and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all US tax-related matters, including tax planning, compliance, and reporting.
  • Monitor changes in US tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the firm and its partners.
  • Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize tax outcomes for the firm and its partners.
  • Collaborate with partner teams to provide tax advisory and planning guidance.
  • Manage relationships with external tax advisors and authorities.
  • Lead and supervise a team of tax professionals.
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns and other tax-related documents.
  • Keep senior executives informed about tax updates, risks, and opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA qualification is required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in US tax, preferably in a financial services or professional services firm.
  • Strong knowledge of US tax laws and regulations.
  • Proven experience in tax planning and compliance.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex tax concepts effectively.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
