We are hiring a Therapist II (SLP/Aud) for one of our clients in New Lisbon, NJ.

Job Description:

• Plan, direct, and conduct therapy programs designed to restore or improve communication efficiency.
• Diagnose, evaluate, and treat language and speech impairments.
• Provide referrals to medical specialists when needed.
• Provide counseling and guidance to clients.
• Write objectives, evaluations, and progress reports.

Desired Skills:

• Experience working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Education, and/or Experience:

• 4 years experience in applying the theory, principles, and techniques of speech-language therapy or audiology.
• Must be able to lift, move, and position clients as needed.
• Experience diagnosing, evaluating, and treating language and speech impairments.

Mandatory Skills/Certification(s) Requirement:

• Current and valid license as a Speech Pathologist/Audiologist issued by the Audiology and Speech Language Pathology Advisory Committee, Division of Consumer Affairs, Dept of Law and Public Safety.
• Preference given to applicants that possess a Speech Language Pathologist License.

Work hours:

• 8:00 AM 3:30 PM
• Lunch Duration: 1/2 Hour Unpaid
