We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Thermal Processing Specialist to lead and manage thermal processing activities at our facility. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing thermal processing equipment and processes, optimizing processes for efficiency and quality, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in thermal processing, with expertise in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and process optimization. If you are a detail-oriented professional with excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to ensuring product safety and quality, we encourage you to apply. salary: $90,000 - $100,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities
  • In-depth understanding of thermal processing principles and methodologies
  • Mastery of thermal processing equipment and instrumentation
  • Comprehensive understanding of thermal processing principles, including heat transfer, sterilization, pasteurization, and blanching.
  • Advanced knowledge of thermal process validation and verification
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing thermal processing protocols
  • Expertise in conducting thermal mapping studies and analyzing results
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards and guidelines relevant to thermal processing (e.g., FDA, USDA, HACCP)
  • Solid problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex thermal processing issues
  • Ability to train and mentor staff on thermal processing procedures and best practices
  • Experience in leading thermal process audits and ensuring compliance with industry standards
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills to effectively manage thermal processing activities and teams
