Thread Roll Operator Apply
Position Summary: The Level Two Thread Roll Operator works under minimal supervision to operate and perform basic setups of thread roll machines such as Warren, Waterbury, EWM, Roy, and Hartford platforms. This role requires intermediate competencies in print reading, inspection processes, and basic troubleshooting, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operate and set up thread roll machines with minimal supervision.
- Perform basic machine setups, including feeding systems.
- Adhere to safety guidelines, including the use of PPE.
- Conduct in-process inspections to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
- Interpret work orders accurately.
- Lift up to 45 lbs.
- Collaborate in a team environment, following instructions and assisting others as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Intermediate skills in print reading and inspection processes.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and comparators.
- Basic familiarity with thread roll tooling and equipment.
- Basic knowledge of materials.
Experience & Education:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience.
- GED or high school diploma preferred but not required.
Compensation:
- Pay: $32.00 - $40.00 per hour
