Tier II Utilities/Refrigeration TechnicianManufacturer of Premium Meat Products in Fort AtkinsonBase Pay of $43.55 (more based on experience) + $2.00 Shift Bonus + $2.00 shift differential (hours worked between 2pm-6am)Jones Dairy Farm, a family owned and operated business for 135 years, is searching for Tier II Utilities/Refrigeration Technicians for 2nd shift. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who thrives on problem solving to find the right technical solution in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.Position Summary:Responsible for the service, repair and preventative maintenance of the ammonia refrigeration system, boilers, wastewater, compressed air, HVAC, and general facility maintenance. Participate in the Process Safety Management (PSM) program and development and maintenance of ammonia system. Daily communication with the Maintenance Supervisor to improve plant reliability.Responsibilities:Operate, monitor, service and repair equipment for steam, refrigeration, water, compressed air and HVAC systemsMake rounds and keep logs of daily operations and events for multiple engine rooms and refrigeration equipmentMaintenance and troubleshooting of ammonia refrigeration compressors, condensers, pumps, vessels / recirculatory, purges, evaporators / MAU's, heat exchangers, and control valves / isolation valves while using the Original Equipment Manufacture's guidelinesMaintenance and troubleshooting of steam boilers, wastewater treatment facility, hot water heaters, HVAC systems and air compressorsParticipates in the PSM ProgramPromotes safe working habitsLog time and material usage into CMMS for PMs and corrective maintenanceResponsible for housekeeping of engine rooms, vessel areas, shops, and all other work areasAll other duties as assignedBasic Qualifications:Demonstrates mechanical abilitiesBackground that includes, but not limited to boilers, air compressor equipment, understanding of plant utilities systems, equipment installation and startupsMinimum of 3 to 5 years' experience in Ammonia RefrigerationAbility to read and interpret blueprints, manuals and P&ID'sPSM experienceAbility to align machinery within specified tolerances to satisfactory levelAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers at all levelsExperience working with vendors and contractorsSelf-motivatedRETA certification CIRO (Certified Industrial Refrigeration Operator) is completed within 3 years of employmentBenefits Package:We offer excellent compensation and benefit package:Medical Insurance with a Health Reimbursement AccountDental, Vision, Prescription, and Life InsuranceFlexible Spending AccountCompany Paid Short Term Disability/Sick PayLong Term Disability available11 Paid Holidays401K with a 100% Employer Match on 5.5% of eligible earningsHealth Club IncentivesProfessional Development Including Tuition Reimbursement & more!We offer excellent compensation and benefit package.
