Job Summary:
The Title Escrow Officer Assistant is responsible for the verification of all file wires as well as preparation of closing seller side documents.
This position requires a local candidate with 5 days of on-site working at our Schaumburg location (425 N. Martingale Rd, Schaumburg IL 60173).
Key Responsibilities:
- Works with Attorneys and Agents in order to provide a seamless closing experience by preparing various items in the file for the closer prior to the closing date.
- Responsible for verifying seller ID using ClosingLock and Resware.
- Assists coordinating team by reviewing mortgage payoff statements that do not verity through ClosingLock by contacting lender and following proper procedure in Resware.
- Enters full data in seller/buyer records
- Acts as the liaison between attorneys and sellers/buyers prior to closing.
- Reviews Seller side closing documents to prepare sellers portion of the closing prior to actual closing date.
- Assists the closing officer with various tasks.

- Knowledge of basic title exceptions and/or clearance requirements
Education and/or Experience:
1-2 years previous title company experience and/or bachelors’ degree or established business background required.
