Diamante Montessori School at Glen Ellyn is looking for a part-time Toddler Intern or Lead Toddler Teacher for the 2026-2027 academic year. The position is for a morning half day 2-3yrs toddler program (8:30-11:30) 5 days a week. Full-time is a possibility and may include working in the office as an administrative assistant and subbing in our preprimary and Kindergarten enrichment classrooms when needed. Prior Experience Minimum 3 years of lead classroom experience preferred or Intern status looking for a practicum site to either self‑direct or intern under the guidance of a seasoned teacher. Role Expectations Provide rich daily food prep and baking experiences for our toddlers. Maintain a beautiful yet simple, authentic Montessori-prepared environment. Create a system for daily observations and record keeping. Create monthly newsletters with classroom and curriculum highlights. Communicate with parents and staff, concerns or observations regarding child development in areas of social‑emotional, language, and motor skills. Develop a reflective teaching practice.
