THIS POSITION:
We are currently hiring experienced Traffic Control Leads. Our leads work with construction crews to safely control traffic flow in and around the construction site using traffic cones, warning signs and barricades. Pay starts at $24.00 an hour or more depending on experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leads a team in traffic control day-to-day operations
- Oversee the safe completion of daily activities
- Operate company trucks and miscellaneous hand tools
- Load and unload equipment
- Conducts routine equipment maintenance and daily equipment inspections
- Complete daily logs
- Communicate problems
- Follow federal, state, local and company laws, rules, and regulations
- Set up and breakdown traffic control zones
QUALIFICATIONS:
- You enjoy working outdoors
- You can stand for extended periods of time and can meet other physical demands of the job
- Possess a valid state drivers license
- Able to work in extreme weather conditions (hot or cold) when required and necessary
- Available to work M-F (starting as early as 6:00 AM), plus overtime
- Available to work weekends and nights when required and necessary
- Reliable transportation to and from work

This position is subject to the Federal Department of Transportation (DOT) drug & alcohol testing regulations as outlined in 49 CFR Part 382 and/or 49 CFR Part 199.
