Job Overview

Our Traffic Engineering team is dedicated to improving transportation safety in our communities. We focus on developing and implementing solutions that make our roadways safer and more efficient. Our greatest project successes are measured by reducing crashes, preventing fatal crashes, and improving efficiency for everyone who travels through our communities.

We are looking for a Traffic Engineer who is ready to grow into the next phase of their career: Project Management. In this role, you will be working with the Assistant Director to manage a variety of transportation safety and transportation planning projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Knowledge of the Access Management Manual, MUTCD, and the Highway Safety Manual, and the Trip Generation Manual
  • Good working knowledge of Excel
  • Prefer software experience with MicroStation, ArcGIS, Synchro, and/or VISTRO
  • Possess written and oral communication skills with English proficiency
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Preference is given to candidates who have passed their Professional Engineer (P.E.) Exam
