About the Role

The Training & Development Coordinator works closely with HR, Quality, and EHS to manage training systems, maintain documentation, prepare materials, support audits, and assist with instructor-led and virtual training. This role is well-suited for someone who values process, organization, and contributing to a culture of continuous learning.


Key Responsibilities

Training Program Support

  • Coordinate onboarding, safety training, technical training, and ongoing development programs.
  • Manage the Learning Management System (LMS), including course creation, assignment, and tracking.
  • Maintain accurate training records in alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare training materials, evaluations, certificates, and attendance logs.
  • Support the facilitation of in-person and virtual training sessions.

Compliance and Documentation

  • Ensure training documentation meets internal, customer, and regulatory standards (ISO, IATF, OSHA, QMS).
  • Work with Quality and EHS teams to confirm mandatory training is completed on time.
  • Maintain and update the training matrix.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing training documentation.

Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor training data and identify gaps or areas for improvement.
  • Assist in developing training modules, SOPs, and related process documents.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve training delivery and efficiency.
  • Apply Lean and Kaizen principles to streamline workflows.

Communication and Coordination

  • Serve as the main point of contact for training-related inquiries.
  • Communicate training deadlines, requirements, and updates to employees and managers.
  • Coordinate calendars, instructor schedules, and training room setups.


Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One to three years of experience in HR, training, quality, or administrative support
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience using an LMS
  • Knowledge of ISO, IATF, OSHA, or similar regulatory standards
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or BizLibrary systems
