Training Administrator

Position: Training Administrator
Job Type: Part-Time, Non-Exempt
Location: San Antonio, TX (Hybrid-Remote)
Accountability: Training Manager

Under general supervision, this position assists the Training Department administratively.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate administrative tasks of the SWOG Learning Management System (LMS). This will include assisting learners in resolution of any access or login challenges, responding to learner inquiries pertaining to online or upcoming virtual training content, scheduling or providing on- demand reports and status updates as to learner training completion status, maintaining other administrator aspects of the system (user profile, learner groups, administrator groups, instructor privileges, etc.), as needed to ensure successful learner use of the system.
  • Triage incoming training departmental email (Training@swog.org) and phone inquiries and address standard incoming email questions pertaining to available (optional) or mandatory training requirements. Disseminate non-standard inquiries to the appropriate point(s)-of- contact.
  • Edit Group Meeting presentations for training purposes. Format presentations (in MSPowerPoint) and review for grammar and spelling accuracy.
  • Communicate with the LMS vendor tech support as needed to resolve any identified issues.
  • Provide other administrative support to the Training Department as requested.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years administrative experience. Familiarity and general understanding of medical terminology preferred.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office 365, with demonstrated experience in PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, Visio, and Share Point.
  • Proficient in Adobe Acrobat Pro.
  • Experience with audio and video generation, editing, and compression software a plus, including: Cyberlink PowerDirector, Adobe Captivate, Handbrake, Bandicut, Camtasia, Audacity.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in teams, as well as the ability to work autonomously to complete assigned tasks and deliverables.
  • Strong communication skills and excellent command of English grammar and spelling. Written proficiency in Spanish is a plus.

Educational Requirement:

Four-year college degree preferred in related discipline.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 25 per week
