The Role
As a Production Trainer, you are responsible for building and sustaining a skilled, compliant, and high-performing production workforce. You design, deliver, and continuously improve cGMP/cGDP-compliant training programs that ensure employees are prepared to execute their roles safely, accurately, and efficiently.
This role blends training development, hands-on floor coaching, and continuous improvement integration. You work closely with Operations, Supervisors, and Continuous Improvement teams to embed process improvements into training, close performance gaps, and drive consistent execution across production operations. This is a brand new role for Tjoapack.
A Day in the Life ????
Your day may begin in the training room, facilitating foundational training for new hires on safety, cGMP expectations, and production fundamentals. Later, you transition to the production floor—observing operations, reinforcing standards, and delivering hands-on training to build technical competency.
Throughout the day, you track trainee progress, identify learning gaps, and provide targeted coaching. You collaborate with supervisors and line leaders to address performance challenges, maintain role-specific certifications, and integrate process updates into training materials. By the end of the day, you’ve strengthened compliance, improved execution, and helped ensure our teams are fully prepared to produce medicines safely and accurately.
What You’ll Do
???? Training Program Development
Develop structured, cGMP/cGDP-compliant training programs for production roles, including curricula, Manual Master Module content, and skill-development pathways.
Create new training materials and revise existing content to reflect process updates, audit findings, and continuous improvement initiatives.
???? Training Delivery & Coaching
Facilitate foundational training for new production employees, ensuring readiness in safety, compliance, and operational fundamentals.
Deliver hands-on, floor-based training to reinforce proper execution of procedures and build technical competency.
Track trainee progress, identify learning gaps, and implement targeted coaching plans to achieve required performance levels.
???? Training Documentation & Reporting
Ensure all training records meet cGMP/cGDP requirements.
Conduct periodic reviews of training documentation to verify completeness, accuracy, and traceability.
Maintain alignment between training content and validated processes.
???? Operational Support
Observe floor operations to identify incorrect or inconsistent work practices and provide corrective coaching.
Reinforce standards for safety, quality, and operational discipline through regular production floor presence.
Partner with supervisors and line leaders to address performance gaps and maintain role-specific certifications.
???? Continuous Improvement Integration
Collaborate with Operations and Continuous Improvement teams to integrate process improvements into training programs.
Evaluate training effectiveness using performance metrics, error trends, and competency outcomes.
Recommend enhancements to workflows, documentation, or training approaches based on operational observations.
What We’re Looking For
Required
3–5 years of experience in training or employee development.
1–3 years of experience in a production, manufacturing, or pharmaceutical environment.
Strong understanding of cGMP, safety requirements, and production processes.
Demonstrated ability to train, coach, and mentor others.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex processes.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate training records.
Preferred
Experience in pharmaceutical packaging or regulated manufacturing.
Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or training-tracking tools.
Experience developing training materials or SOP documentation.
