Training SpecialistHF Sinclair Midstream located in Artesia, NM is seeking a Training Specialist. This position conducts training sessions for the Operation Department under minimal supervision.Job DutiesThe essential functions of this position include:Task oriented to ensure the safety, profitability, and training of all operation and maintenance personnel at HEPAbility to collaborate and communicate with field personnelDevelops certification tests for the operations department and updates as needed, compiling training materials to issue with training outlinesTracks and maintains operator certification and recertification dates and ensures all operators maintain current certifications, liaising with appropriate management as neededWrites/assists in Operation procedures (Unit startup, emergency shutdown procedures)Must have good facilitator skillsPosts and files records for all operations Notice of Change (NOC) postings and signature listsDevelops, updates, and maintains training and reference manuals and operating procedures, liaising with appropriate staff and management and ensuring all required periodic certifications are maintainedMakes recommendations to supervisory personnel regarding ongoing training needs of operations staffAdheres to strict action plans for changes and implementationsAdministers written and practical exams and certification and re-certification testsAttends Safety meetings, training programs, safety reviews, and other meetings as needed to remain current on any changes or upgradesSpecial assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their supervisor, as determined from time to time in their sole and complete discretion.ExperienceA minimum of 10 or more years of on-the-job experience is required.Education LevelA minimum of a Bachelors Degree, or an equivalent combination of education (in a technical related field) and work experience, is required.Required SkillsAbility to lead and train a small group of employees.
