Job Description & Skill Requirement:


> Design and develop transmission using NX.
> Evaluate and benchmark CVT, dual clutch, and torque converter automatic transmission technologies for automotive and 4 wheel drive applications.
> Develop objective performance metrics (shift quality, response time, efficiency, drivability) and correlate them with subjective ride and shift feel.
> Create and execute test plans for technology evaluations, including test conditions, instrumentation, measurement points, and data analysis.
> Support customer in reviewing and validating transmission solutions offered by suppliers, ensuring they meet defined performance targets.
> Analyze transmission data, identify gaps, and recommend improvements in calibration, hardware, or control strategies.
> Collaborate with vehicle integration, powertrain, and dynamics teams to ensure the transmission system delivers the desired performance, durability, and user experience.
> Document evaluation processes and contribute to customer's transmission development guidelines.
