• Title: Transmission Line Engineer
• Location: Spring Branch, TX (North of San Antonio) & Dripping Springs, TX (West of Austin)

We are seeking a qualified Transmission Line Engineer to join our team in Spring Branch, Texas. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of High Voltage (HV) and Extra High Voltage (EHV) AC and DC transmission line projects, with potential involvement in renewable energy infrastructure initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed engineering and design of overhead transmission line projects from 4kV to 500kV.
• Design underground transmission lines ranging from 69kV to 230kV.
• Develop cost estimates and probable cost analyses for projects with limited details.
• Prepare construction and material specifications, along with scope documents for tenders and contracts.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and permitting agencies, ensuring smooth project execution.
• Take on project engineer and/or project manager responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 3 - 5 years of post-graduation experience in transmission line design.
• Proficiency in PLS- CADD or PLS- POLE software suite, Sag10, AutoCAD/MicroStation, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with industry standards, including NESC, CPUC, ASCE, and RUS regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Must be insurable and possess a valid driver's license (no exceptions).
• Ability to lift to 30 lbs. as required.
