Job Title: Bilingual Mandarin Transportation Dispatcher

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Transportation Dispatcher to manage daily linehaul and transportation scheduling. This role ensures timely vehicle dispatching, capacity planning, exception handling, and coordination between warehouse teams, drivers, and carriers. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment and is skilled in communication, problem-solving, and real-time decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate linehaul dispatching, including vehicle scheduling, departure instructions, and arrival tracking, ensuring effective execution of the transportation plan.
• Maintain accurate vehicle logs and dispatch records; monitor loading rates, transport efficiency, and route utilization.
• Monitor load volume trends and forecast capacity needs; proactively adjust dispatch plans and resources to meet operational requirements.
• Track transportation exceptions (delays, breakdowns, load variance, etc.), investigate root causes, and coordinate solutions with internal teams and vendors.
• Communicate real-time updates to warehouse operations, carriers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth inbound/outbound flow.
• Generate daily reports on transportation performance (loading rates, delays, on-time metrics) to support management decisions.
• Ensure compliance with company safety standards and transportation regulations.

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience in dispatching, transportation, linehaul operations, logistics, or related field (last-mile experience preferred).
• Strong coordination and problem-solving skills; able to make decisions under time pressure.
• Proficient in basic computer tools (Excel/Sheets, email communication, dispatching systems).
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Bilingual required: English and Mandarin - need to communicate with Mandarin speaking people.
