Job Description Olsson provides multidisciplinary design services for transportation-related projects including urban and rural highways, interchanges, and municipal roadways. As a Project Manager, you will be a lead project manager for our Roadway team, ensuring successful project deliverables and completion for complex and high-priority projects that may span across multiple teams. You will also provide direction to the Roadway team and ensure quality execution of key projects that provide purposeful, high-quality solutions to successfully solve engineering and design needs. As a Project Manager, you will take charge of supervising and nurturing the professional and technical growth of team members. Your emphasis on mentorship will contribute to a culture that values skill development, collaboration, and collective success. Together, we can make a positive impact on our communities and play a vital role in shaping the future of transportation infrastructure. Primary responsibilities: Develops and manages project scope, schedule, and budget to ensure successful and timely delivery. Leads project execution by coordinating teams, assigning responsibilities, and aligning resources to project goals. Serves as the primary point of contact, maintaining strong client relationships and clear communication. Monitors project performance, manages risks and changes, and ensures work stays within scope, schedule, and budget. Oversees quality control and technical reviews to ensure deliverables meet contract requirements and standards. Qualifications You are passionate about: Working collaboratively with others. Having ownership in the work you do. Using your talents to positively affect communities. You bring to the team: Strong communication skills. Ability to contribute and work well on a team. Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. Project management experience including scope, schedule, and budget control. 8+ years of experience in highway or municipal design. Must be a registered Professional Engineer (PE). Experience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
