Provide purchasing and inventory management of various commodities and MnDOT materials. Performs a broad range of work activities associated with purchasing; inventory management; fixed asset management; contract administration; specification; disposal; and parts, supply, equipment, and material disbursement within the guidelines of the Materials Management Plan. Also includes parts look up and procurement on a wide variety of on & off highway vehicles and equipment. Minimum Qualifications Two years of experience working with automated Materials Management/Inventory Management Systems. Valid Class D driver's license upon application. Successful candidate resumes must also demonstrate: Experience researching heavy equipment/automotive parts and/or construction materials. Experience establishing and evaluating product comparison data for purchasing inventory (quote/bid). Experience with spreadsheets and word processing (examples – Excel and Word).
