About the Role
We’re seeking a Transportation Sales Representative to drive new shipper acquisition and grow revenue within a fast-paced freight brokerage environment. This position is ideal for a competitive sales hunter who thrives on outbound outreach, closing new business, and operating with urgency. Our brokerage supports shippers across the U.S. and Canada with a focus on Truckload (TL) and Less Than Truckload (LTL) solutions.
What You’ll Do

Prospect and acquire new shipping customers through outbound cold calling, email, and follow-up

Execute high-volume outbound activity (70–100 calls/day)

Qualify prospects, build pipeline, and close new business opportunities

Manage customer relationships through responsive communication and problem solving

Maintain CRM data, prospect lists, and activity tracking

Collaborate with internal brokerage/operations teams to ensure customer needs are met

Report KPIs and performance metrics to sales leadership
Requirements

3+ years experience in outbound sales, inside sales, telemarketing, or customer service (logistics experience preferred)

Sales-driven mentality with strong motivation to win new accounts

Comfortable with high-volume cold calling and rejection handling

Clear verbal communication and professional written skills

Ability to make quick, informed decisions in a fast-paced environment

Coachable, quick learner, team-oriented, and self-starter mindset

Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and general computer systems
Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $40,000 – $50,000 | Hourly rate + commissions (5% of gross margin)
