About the Role
We’re seeking a Transportation Sales Representative to drive new shipper acquisition and grow revenue within a fast-paced freight brokerage environment. This position is ideal for a competitive sales hunter who thrives on outbound outreach, closing new business, and operating with urgency. Our brokerage supports shippers across the U.S. and Canada with a focus on Truckload (TL) and Less Than Truckload (LTL) solutions.

What You’ll Do

  • Prospect and acquire new shipping customers through outbound cold calling, email, and follow-up

  • Execute high-volume outbound activity (70–100 calls/day)

  • Qualify prospects, build pipeline, and close new business opportunities

  • Manage customer relationships through responsive communication and problem solving

  • Maintain CRM data, prospect lists, and activity tracking

  • Collaborate with internal brokerage/operations teams to ensure customer needs are met

  • Report KPIs and performance metrics to sales leadership

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in outbound sales, inside sales, telemarketing, or customer service (logistics experience preferred)

  • Sales-driven mentality with strong motivation to win new accounts

  • Comfortable with high-volume cold calling and rejection handling

  • Clear verbal communication and professional written skills

  • Ability to make quick, informed decisions in a fast-paced environment

  • Coachable, quick learner, team-oriented, and self-starter mindset

  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and general computer systems

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $40,000 – $50,000 | Hourly rate + commissions (5% of gross margin)

  • Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance (effective 1st of month after 60 days)

  • 401(k) with company match (eligibility after one year)

  • Monday–Friday schedule, 7:00am–4:00pm

  • Growth-oriented work environment with strong sales mentorship
