This position offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that's constantly evolving.Shaw's Distribution Center, a proud member of the Albertsons Companies family, is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Trucking Transportation Supervisor to lead operations for our fleet of 100+ CDL Class A drivers. If you thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment and have a passion for DOT compliance, leadership, and delivering results we want to hear from you.Shift: Wednesday to Saturday (6AM-6PM)The position will be based in Methuen, MA.Main responsibilities:Supervise transportation operations and CDL drivers.Schedule, route, and dispatch load efficiently for store deliveries.Ensure driver assignments and operations meet DOT/FMCSA requirements, including Hours of Service compliance.Coordinate closely with warehouse staff for on-time order loading and dispatch.Maintain strong relationships with store managers to ensure exceptional service.Prepare and review weekly/monthly DOT mileage and compliance reports.Enforce safety standards, company policies, and government regulations at all times.We are looking for candidates who possess the following:Knowledge of DOT regulations and FMCSA complianceValid CDL Class A required.Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a large driver team.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Proficiency in Excel and transportation management systems (TMS or onboard tech experience is a plus).Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.Work Environment:Combination of offices, yards, and warehouse environments.Use of standard office tools, including computers, calculators, and phones.Minimal travel required (up to 2%).DOT & Safety Compliance Statement:All operations are conducted in full accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) guidelines, including driver qualification files, HOS compliance, vehicle maintenance standards, and reporting procedures.We also provide a variety of benefits including:Competitive wages paid weeklyAssociate discountsHealth and financial well-being benefits for eligible associates (Medical, Dental, 401k and more!)Time off (vacation, holidays, sick pay).
