Travel Advisor Apply
Home based Travel Agency looking for a talented individual who wants to expand their career in the Travel Industry. Our company is growing, and we want somebody who is very organized, loves to travel, has excellent computer skills, understands social media, has good people skills, and is comfortable on the phone. This position is perfect for a semi-retiree or military spouse with an entrepreneurial spirit and a love of travel.
The job is in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, but if you have previous experience in the travel industry and can work remotely, we may make an exception.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients in planning and booking their travel arrangements, including cruises, flights, accommodations, transportation, and activities
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise during the travel process
- Stay up-to-date with current travel trends, destinations, and industry regulations to provide accurate and relevant information to clients
- Collaborate with cruise lines, resorts, hotels, airlines, and other travel partners to secure the best deals for clients
- Create detailed itineraries for clients, including information on flights, accommodations, transportation, and activities
- Process payments related to travel bookings if requested by the customer
Experience:
- Previous experience in the hospitality or travel industry is required
- Strong knowledge of different travel destinations, hotels, airlines, and transportation options
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling client information and bookings
