Travel Cardiac Sonographer Apply
Evolve Healthcare seeks qualified Cardiac Sonographers for am IMMEDIATE start on 13-week travel assignment in beautiful Salt Lake City, UT. Ideal candidates have at least 2 yrs cardiac experience, their BLS/AHA, RDCS or RCS and perform a complete echo with full report in 1 hour.
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.

SHIFTS: 8-430PM 5X8s
PAY: Traveler $ 2380.00 gross (includes$1400.00 base and $980.00 stipend). Bi Weekly Pay
Duties:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients using specialized equipment
- Obtain and record patient history and clinical data
- Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process to them
- Position patients and equipment to obtain optimal images
- Analyze images and data to ensure quality and accuracy of diagnostic information
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to interpret findings and make recommendations for further testing or treatment
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
Requirements:
- Certification as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
- Proficiency in performing sonographic examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, vascular, and cardiac
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to sonography
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control measures
- Ability to accurately interpret sonographic images and data
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in documentation
Skills:
- Proficient in obtaining vital signs and performing diagnostic evaluations
- Knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and techniques
- Understanding of aseptic technique for maintaining sterile environments during procedures
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy for accurate positioning and identification of structures during sonography
- Expertise in using sonographic equipment and software for image acquisition and analysis
- Familiarity with medical terminology to accurately communicate findings in reports
