**Join Our Dynamic Team as a Cardiovascular Technologist!** **Job Description:** - Be an integral part of life-saving procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab! - Assist physicians with: - Invasive cardiac and peripheral diagnostic and therapeutic procedures - Temporary and permanent pacemaker placements - Circulatory support devices like IABP and Impella - Prepare and organize equipment for each procedure, ensuring a sterile environment. - Collaborate with the procedure room team to set up patient monitoring and positions. - Calibrate and test transducers for precise pressure readings. - Operate and manage power injectors and sterile support equipment. - Support physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures. - Maneuver table controls and assist in hemodynamic monitoring: - Calculate cardiac output and analyze hemodynamic data - Use digital cine technologies for patient imaging and data management - Help with vascular access, sheath removal, and maintain hemostasis. - Manage inventory control and ensure equipment readiness for procedures. - Adhere to Clinical Cardiovascular Information Systems (CVIS) standards. - Maintain radiation safety protocols and adhere to organizational policies. - Recognize and interpret cardiac arrhythmias with confidence. - Lift 40 lbs, push/pull 100 lbs and remain standing for at least 4 hours a day. - Tailor care to meet diverse patient needs, including age, culture, and communication. - Promote a professional environment reflective of our core values: Collaboration, Courage, Compassion, and Creativity. **Qualifications:** - **Required Experience:** - 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory or invasive procedure area in an acute care hospital. - **Skills:** - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Familiarity with computers and hemodynamic monitoring. - Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite. - **Education:** - Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular technologist or radiologic technologist program. - **Certifications:** - AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification. - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 3 months of employment. - RCIS exam or Radiologic Technologist License within 1 year of hire. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
