Graduate from one of the following accredited programs:

  • Radiology Technology

  • Recognized Paramedic Program

Required Experience\n
    \n
  • 1–2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience
    OR

  • 1–2 years of Radiology Technologist experience
    OR
    • \n
  • 2 years of Paramedic experience
    OR
    • \n
  • Greater than 2 years of Critical Care or Emergency Department Nursing experience
    • \n
Preferred Experience\n

  • Cardiac specialty experience preferred

Required Licensure & Certifications\n

  • BLS (AHA Healthcare Provider or client-approved equivalent)

One of the following credentials is required:

  • ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist

  • Licensed Respiratory Therapist through the North Carolina Respiratory Care Board (NCRCB) and credentialed by the NBRC as RRT

  • Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology Program
    • \n
  • North Carolina EMT-P credentialing/accreditation or Paramedic Associate Degree from a recognized Paramedic Program
