Duties include: Administer care for heart disease and heart attack patients by obtaining visual diagnostics of the heart arteries. Identify blockages, assist the physician during procedures, and monitor patient status at other times. Administer interventional procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, pacemaker and/or defibrillator implantation, and related diagnostic procedures.
