Job Description & Requirements TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Oak Park, Illinois. The position is a 13‑week assignment, 40 hours per week, 8‑hour days. Employment type: Travel. Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 40 Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Prepare Cardiac Lab procedure rooms, ensuring adequate stock and functioning equipment, including instrument sterilization if applicable. Prepare patients and equipment for cardiac lab procedures: site of entry, draping, arranging sterilized instruments and catheters, calibrating and setting up pressure transducers and tubing. Operate and ensure quality control of all equipment used in the cardiac cath lab; maintain knowledge of all related equipment. Scrub in during procedures, assisting the physician in maneuvering catheters. Obtain and record hemodynamic, electrical, and angiographic data using hemodynamic and electrical amplifiers and digital and line fluoroscopic equipment. Monitor the patient’s hemodynamic status during procedures. Participate in life‑saving measures such as defibrillation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Radiologist (Cath Lab Rad). Must have BLS, ACLS, and CCI (RCIS) or CCI‑RCIS certification; 2 years of experience preferred. State‑specific licensing when required. Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty. Job ID #1445995.
