Job Opportunity – Clinical Laboratory Scientist – Southern California

Location: Mission Viejo, California

Schedule: 8-hour AM shift, 4:00 AM - 12:30 PM on weekdays, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM on weekends. Weekend rotation may exceed every other weekend to meet department needs. Floating between facilities may be required at any time.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Clinical Laboratory Scientist experience required
• Strong blood bank experience essential – trauma hospital experience strongly preferred
• Current California CLS state license (must be in hand prior to start)
• BLS certification required
• ASCP certification preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• Previous travel experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• LA fire card within the last 30 days required
• Must provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
