Job Details:

• Work 4/10 hour shifts Thursday through Sunday
\n• Thursday/Friday CT shifts from 5:00 AM to 5:30 PM
\n• Saturday/Sunday X-ray shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
\n• No call requirements
\n• Must be able to work independently as graveyard CT/X-ray tech is the only staff member in department between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM
\n• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ARRT CT certification
\n• Washington state license required
\n• Must provide radiation badge (manager can assist if absolutely needed)
\n• Perform CT scans with/without contrast including head, spine, abdomen, pelvis, CTA PE, runoff, and extremities
\n• Perform general X-rays including chest, PICC line placement, tube placement, and trauma fracture extremities
\n• Must be able to start IVs when needed
\n• Float between CT and general X-ray areas
\n• Work with EPIC EMR system and McKesson PACS
\n• Average 2-6 CT scans and 1-4 X-rays per night on graveyard shift
\n• Equipment includes Toshiba 64 Slice CT Scanner, Carestream X-ray room, and brand new GE Portable X-ray
\n• EPIC training required in Tacoma with one week on-site training
\n• Wear scrubs of your choosing
\n• Work holidays that fall on scheduled shifts

This acute care hospital provides comprehensive medical services to the community with a radiology department featuring modern imaging equipment. The facility operates with one CT scanner, one X-ray room, and one portable unit, maintaining 24/7 imaging services. The hospital utilizes EPIC electronic medical records and McKesson PACS systems, with radiologist coverage Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, supplemented by teleradiology services.
