PRIDE Health is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Mattoon, Illinois.

Shift Time: 3x12 Evening (12:00 PM to 12:00AM)
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform CT procedures and assigned invasive imaging exams per protocols
- Independently complete multiplanar reformats and 3D rendered images
- Review cases with radiologist as needed
- Assess patient labs and history to determine proper imaging
- Screen for and respond to adverse or allergic reactions to contrast material
- Administer contrast via existing IV line or by starting IVs
- Screen for pregnancy and perform testing if required
- Ensure safety for patients, staff, and environment, report safety events
- Provide instruction to students and assist new staff
- Cover lead or coordinator duties in their absence
- Maintain productivity benchmarks and assist other areas during downtime
- Perform other modality tasks if licensed and as needed by the department
- Ensure image quality by reviewing positioning, technical accuracy, and alignment
- Verify completeness and accuracy of patient data
- Transfer and validate image data in PACS
- Submit after-hours exams for preliminary reading using EA viewer/email
- Maintain imaging equipment and inventory, report malfunctions promptly
- Confirm radiology orders are complete and clinically justified
- Collect and verify additional clinical data when needed from patients or providers
Required:
- IEMA Radiography License – Illinois
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) – NMTCB
- ARRT Certification in Radiography
