Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of CT experience, ARRT (CT), and BLS for a 13-week contract in a Level 2 trauma setting.

Details
  • Work in a hospital-based CT unit serving ER, inpatient, and outpatient populations
  • Level 2 trauma facility environment
  • Night shifts available: Sunday–Thursday 10:30 PM–6:30 AM and Friday & Saturday 11:00 PM–7:00 AM, with every other weekend rotation
  • Five shifts per week, 8 hours per day
  • May float to a nearby sister hospital as needed
  • Utilizes GE and Philips CT equipment
  • Experience with RIS and PACS is required
  • No blocked scheduling available
Requirements
  • Current ARRT certification with CT registry or registry-eligible (CT)
  • Active Michigan license required if applicable
  • Current AHA BLS certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of CT technologist experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Hospital experience required
  • Experience with GE and Philips equipment required
  • Must have workstation and PACS experience
  • Completion of required online modules with passing score prior to start
  • COVID vaccination is mandatory
Additional Information
  • Duties include performing CT imaging procedures, administering IV contrast using power injectors, and assisting radiologists with complex procedures such as biopsies
  • Responsible for maintaining and preparing procedure rooms, inventory, and ensuring adherence to radiation safety principles
  • Must demonstrate strong customer service skills, teamwork, and open communication
  • Must be able to lift or move patients and equipment over 10 lbs occasionally
  • Exposure to radiation and potentially contagious patients is possible if safety precautions are not used
  • Online modules must be completed onsite before the official start date
  • Pewter scrubs are required
  • Every other weekend work is part of the schedule
  • Time-off requests must be disclosed prior to assignment; changes post-offer require manager approval
