Schedule: Emergency Department staffing with variable shifts to support 24/7 operations
Highlights:- Deliver coordinated nursing care in a fast-paced emergency and trauma environment
- Care for patients of all ages requiring triage, emergency treatment, and trauma support
- Supervise and direct various levels of nursing staff while coordinating interdisciplinary care
- Utilize critical thinking and independent judgment in acute care emergency settings
- Work within an established trauma care site serving the community
- Apply the nursing process and established standards of care in a dynamic clinical setting
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- PALS or TNCC preferred
- Emergency Department or trauma nursing experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated supervisory and critical thinking skills
