Schedule: Every other weekend; no call required
Highlights:
- Direct patient care in a dynamic Emergency Department setting
- Work with sophisticated equipment and diverse patient populations
- Triage, assess, and provide immediate care for acutely ill and non-acute patients
- Collaborate with physicians on complex procedures and treatment planning
- Manage ambulance radio communication and provide pre-hospital care orders
- Participate in comprehensive care planning and discharge education
Requirements:
- Active Michigan RN license (verified via LARA and/or Nursys)
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room/Emergency Department experience required
- Travel healthcare experience highly preferred
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS (all American Heart Association)
- Active NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Active TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
- Skills checklist current within 1 year, specific to Emergency Department nursing
- Two supervisory reference forms from within the last two years
- Must reside outside a 100-mile radius from the facility
